Students have the availability to move up a band throughout the school year. By the same token students are also able to move down a band throughout the school year.
Ways to Move Up:
1.) Drastic Increase in Playing Ability and Music Reading Ability
2.) Preforming and Placing Well at the ALL-REGION Band Competition
3.) Drastic Increase in Maturity and Discipline
4.) Consistently Doing More than the Bare Minimum During Class, After School and During Performances
5.) Consistently being on top of Assignments and Effectively Communicating between Band Directors and Family
Ways to Move Down:
1.) Failure to Attend all or most of after school Practices and Performances
2.) Having Difficulty Succeeding in the Student's Current band Class
3.) Scheduling Conflicts
4.) Excess Disciplinary Action Ex.) ISS, OSS, DAEP [ Low Level of Maturity]
5.) Not Participating in the ALL-REGION Band Competition [ Honor Band Specific]
6.) Failure to Consistently Communicate with Band Directors and Family
